About BayPark

BayPark helps riders search for a London destination and open a cycling route in Google Maps to a nearby bike parking bay, or via the destination first when that is useful.

BayPark currently has bay or parking-location data for:

Mandatory parking notes

Some boroughs require riders to finish trips in designated bays. Others use bay rules only in certain areas, or publish bays even where parking rules can vary street by street.

• Mandatory bay parking shown in BayPark: Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, City of London, Camden, Hammersmith and Fulham.
• Mandatory parking in some areas: Lambeth, Wandsworth, Haringey, Hackney, Southwark, Islington.
• Bay data shown, rules vary or are planned: Brent, Merton, Ealing, Lewisham, Greenwich, Richmond upon Thames.

Tower Hamlets

Tower Hamlets is handled differently for now. BayPark can currently route you directly to the chosen destination in Tower Hamlets, but it cannot yet route to a verified parking bay there because public bay location data is not available in the app.

Data

BayPark uses public London council parking maps and published bay datasets where available. Parking rules and bay locations can change, so always check signs, marked bays, and the operator app before ending a ride.
